Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night with the purchase of a buffet, you receive complimentary beer and wine. Last but not least I have to tell you about my favorite part of this new buffet. Other dishes on the seafood buffet are shrimp, fried shrimp, Potato Crusted Salmon, Blackened Tilapia with cheddar cheese grits, Seafood Stuffed Eggplant, Moroccan Fish Tagine, Jonah crab claws, oysters, and sushi. Friday nights the buffet will feature all-you-can-eat snow crab legs and on Saturday nights all-you-can-eat whole lobsters for just $25.99. And seafood lovers, don’t worry they didn’t forget about you. I can’t forget to tell you about the Mongolian Grill, where you choose your ingredients and watch the chef’s prepare you meal on a stone grill while you wait.
Next up was the wood-fired pizza ovens where you can get pizzas made to order. They have home made Indian breads, Tikka and kabobs cooked in the only Tandoori oven in the whole state of Mississippi. The station that immediately caught my eye was the Indian food. There is some much to choose from it’s hard to decide where to start. The chef’s at Gold Strike have taken great care in coming up with the new buffet items. But the design is not the only thing we are excited about. Levi’s are incorporated in the space and add a hip element to the buffet.
The newly renovated $8 million dollar buffet design is inspired by the area with a large skylight, southern pine and even Levi’s 501 jeans. The new Americana Buffet opened last week at Gold Strike Casino to rave reviews.
